What are some songs that have really good meanings behind them?

I really love like Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift songs! Each song has a good meaning behind it and it makes perfect sense. Like a real life story and what-not! But I want more good songs with good meanings behind them that are not Kelly Clarkson or Taylor Swift songs!
These songs can not swear, have a bad meaning behind them, or say dog backwards AT ALL!
That is all!
Please help if you can!

Laudate Dominum — Helloween
This song is a cover of a Mozart song. It is in Latin, it is Rock, Its title means (Everybody) Praise the Lord.

Cassie — Flyleaf
This is a song about the girl who said Yes after being asked whether she believed in God or not @ Columbine. It is Rock

The former is in latin, but does mention God and the later does mention God, but both are in good context.

Youth of the Nation — POD
Great Message. It is Rock.

When the Tigers Broke Free — Pink Floyd
Song about the Battle for the Anzio Bridge in WWII. When I listen to in in a dark room, It almost brings tears to my eyes, very powerful. It is almost a hymn.

Push — Helloween
This song is about being yourself and expressing your independence. It is speed metal. I enjoy Helloween because it rarely uses profanity and usually has a good message to their songs.

Holy Wars…Punishment Due to Pain — Megadeth
Metal song, Good lyrics, thought provoking message.

When you were young — The Killers
Catchy song with a nice thought. Makes me feel better about not being an asshole to girls.

Alive — POD
Just another POD song.

Speed — Atari Teenage Riot
I don’t know what to classify this as, but I enjoy the lyrics. ATR was disliked in their genre because of their politically-geared lyrics.

I know what you are talking about. I have been looking for songs like these for a while. I’ll add more as I think of them.

I just listed a few songs from a few bands which have a lot more good songs.

    In all honesty,
Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift- they both make very teeny-bopper pop songs I think everyone has heard before.

Try listening to some songs from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s when originality was in. lol.
