What are some good songs that would work as Dark Electronic Pop songs?

My friend and I started a Dark Electronic Pop group and to get the feel of working together and what kind of sound we want, we’re covering some influential songs. The one DEP song we’re playing is Chrome by Vnv Nation, and the two songs we’re turing into DEP songs are Polly by Nirvana and Mesopotamia by The B-52’s. What other songs might work?

Try listening to the EBM band Deviant UK. Their music is very similar to drk electronic pop and should give you some influences and ideas. Their song Access Denied is a primary example of dark, electronic, synthy, industrial pop.

Maybe Bauhaus, or some Joy Divison. They’re not really electro pop, thy’re dark wave, but they could help you.
