How to import songs on an iPod to a Computer with songs on it?

So a while back my computer broke so i got a new one. I have songs on the new computer but songs on my iPod synced with the old computer. How do i get the songs off my old iPod onto my new computer without losing any songs?

Connect the iPod, and by any means don’t allow iTunes to sync. Click the little black cross on the top when it attempts. But don’t close the app.

Go to the iPod’s options in iTunes and check the box that says ‘Manually manage music and videos’. Now, authorize the computer with your iTunes Account (if you have one, and if you have bought music in the iPod off the Store). Now, you can just drag and drop the media from the iPod to iTunes by exploring the iPod from the left pane.
