How many songs should you like from a certain band to be considered a fan of that band?

For example, if you only like a couple of songs from say, The Ramones, but you REALLY like those couple songs, would you still consider yourself a Ramones fan? Should you have a certain amount of songs on your iPod of that band, or own some of their CDs? Or is it how much you like each songs, not the amount?
i think at least 3 songs thats absolutely in love with or 10 songs thats in love with. n on the whole u will care what happen to the band, like at least once a month check out their latest news.

well if you only have a couple songs by The Ramones but you really like them then get more songs; then there’s no denying you’re a fan. and if you don’t want to buy them use http://listen.grooveshark.com/ or something like that.

I think as long as you like more songs than you don’t like from the band, you can consider yourself a fan of them.

There are 5 business days.
There are 5 fingers on each hand.
There are 5 toes on each foot.
It takes 5 minutes to make a *perfect* Ramen noodle dish.
I say 5 songs that you have to *love*; love meaning that all of those are in your Top 25 Most Played list, meaning that you can rehearse those songs word. for. word, meaning that you will have those songs on your iPod until the day you die.
If that isn’t the case, then I say you have to *like* an about an album’s worth of songs. That’s around 10, give or take.

I think you should at least like ten songs or own an album by them to be a fan of the band. I like your example, but I wouldn’t consider myself a fan if I only loved about six songs by the band. I wouldn’t say ten has to be the amount, people can set their standards for themselves, but that’s what it is for me. To be a true fan, I think you should own at least two or three albums by them.
Well, according to the old saying quality is more important than quantity, but just because you love x amount of songs, doesn’t mean you’re a fan. You can own an album by a band and still be a fan, just not a huge one.

I would say that you should like at least 10 songs to say the least, but I guess I’m being a hypocrite considering, I consider myself a fan of Coheed and Cambria even though I have only found 2 songs I like. (Welcome Home and The Running Free)

If you only like a couple songs, you’re not considered a "fan." If you own at least one album, then you’re a fan.

I’d say the measure of a real fan is not how many songs you like, but home many ALBUMS you like. A band like Led Zep, I can listen to every song on every album, and love em all. Same with bands like Pixies and Nirvana.

I think that you must actually own two of their albums in either CD form or mp3 form. You must also like a total of five songs from each album to call yourself a fan.
