    @john0908c : I completely agree that homeless people shouldn’t be generalized as “sick” or “stupid”. However, I won’t go as far as to say I’m envious of someone living on the streets, especially if you have a family (e.g., spouse, son or daughter).

    For all the people saying that the homeless are “sick” or “stupid” or whatever, you’re undeniably wrong. Yes, there are people like that, but that doesn’t apply to everyone. I have a homeless friend. He’s 70 years old, and he sleeps outside in the 20-below weather. He has his blankets and sleeping bags, and honestly prefers it instead of rent and 9-to-5 jobs. He lives off of his social security checks, and is happier with his life then I’ll ever be. God bless him, cause I’m honestly jealous.

    the tunnel is a different kind of place now iv gone down there a number of times in the last two years, seen about a total of 10 bums. i walked the entire dark section (where this was filmed) and saw only 2 houses.there still catacombs where crack heads hide out and smoke all day but you need ladders. after watching this movie years ago i felt drawn and i told my self i would go, when i left home for school i found somebody to take me. its a really special place to paint.

    This just shows no matter what, people will find a way to survive. When I saw this for the first time, it was better than any movie I’ve ever seen. It’s about life and humanity. It’s amazing. This helped change my life some. Thank you for posting this.

    This is the best documentary that I have ever seen. It has inspired me in my everyday life to help others and give them your time and energy. Kudos Marc Singer, I love you man.
