How to listen to people without having the urge to interupt them?

Its difficult to listen and remember what it is I have to say while the person is still speaking.

Think about the skills you use when watching a movie, when listening to an inspiring talk, or anything else where you don’t interrupt. Ask yourself why you don’t interrupt in those circumstances: is it due to interest, respect, taking in the whole story so you can correctly refute soemthing later on?. Apply those skills to normal conversational times..

  1. I think you can try practicing listening to people while concentrating on not interrupting them, but I don’t know what you can do about remembering better what they say.
