What are all the different instrumental tracks used in a song?

I have the song in my head and the vocals, but I wanted to know how many and what instrumental tracks specifically are included when creating one song (particularly a pop song). I mean, you can hear that there’s a drum and a guitar strumming, but what other instruments, like computer generated even, are generally included in a pop song?

That varies from song to song, but in general a pop song would have bass, drums, guitar and keyboard. Some dance type tunes may not use guitar while some more rockish tunes may not use keyboard. Those are just your basic elements.
