I know there are lots of places to download but are there any that are free and safe to download from?

You can try LimeWire, unless you get LimeWire Pro, LimeWire is free, and you can download LimeWire Pro for free off of LimeWire (or so I hear)

Unlike Bearshare, iMesh (or is it Imesh?), and most other P2P programs, LimeWire does not contain spyware, some downloads may contain viruses, but as long as you know what you are doing, and have a good up to date antivirus (I prefer Avast Antivirus since it warns of an intrusion), then you won’t have to worry

So I would suggest LimeWire for a safe and free way to download music, or you can also try FrostWire, it’s identical to LimeWire and also runs off of the gnutella network like LimeWire, also has the same interface, I haven’t noticed many differences at all

   Well there is http://mp3realm.org but that may get you a virus and theres http://projectplaylist.com/ search the song up then go "view site" then at the bar at the top there will be an adress.mp3. u copy tht and put in adress bar and click save
