What is some good classical music I should listen to while studying?

Posted on March 11th, 2010 by admin

While studying or doing some homework, I personally like to listen to some classical music. What are your reccommendations?

BQ 1: Do you think it is okay to listen to classical music while doing homework or studying?
BQ 2: Some people say to me that listening to classical music is only for ”older people”, do you think this is true?

Great ! I suggest light airy Mozart chamber music because something with big sound distracts more than helps. Did you know there are studies that babies increase their thinking process listening to mozart?
I believe those who peg classical music as an old persons thing have been indoctrinated by the Nickelodeon and music channels.
I am an 80 year old who plays and conducts his own music. My students are famous worldwide and they are not old folks.

How can I listen to Phillies baseball on the radio via the internet?

Posted on March 7th, 2010 by admin

I want to listen to Harry Kalas call the games while I watch them on TV. Is there a way I can do that over the internet? WPHT seems to broadcast Smerconish online while the games are on the "real" radio for some reason.

All MLB teams black out their broadcast on the internet feed. This is because MLB has the exclusive rights to broadcast games over the internet via MLB.com. It’s pretty inexpensive for the season, but all playoff games should be free on your local ESPN affiliate on the radio.

How can I listen to my cellphone mailbox while calling from a landline?

Posted on March 5th, 2010 by admin

I remember there was a way to call your own cell phone and once the voicemail kicked in, you’d put in a number/code and listen to your messages.

Anyone knows how to do that?

If it matters my phone is sprint.

Dial your own number and when you hear your answering machine, HIT 0. Then enter your mailbox password that was created when you set up your mailbox.

What is a good website to listen to classical or jazz music on?

Posted on February 25th, 2010 by admin

I need a music that I can listen to classical music or jazz music on. I don’t want to have to pay, because it’s for school and I’ll probably never listen to it again after my assignment is done. Anything will work, just so long as I don’t have to pay.

Check this out, the best so far:

these are the drummers to listen to-because they inspired the modern drummer today!
