Most "artists" have deep feelings and use whatever medium they prefer to express themselves.
I feel like if it's there, it's there. You don't just become an artist because you want to feel cool and independent. You just have the passion and love for whatever it is you do. You do it for yourself.

Idk if that makes sense...
References :
My dome

I think my answer to your other question also sheds some light here.. science is discovering that regular people are incapable of accessing their right brain (which is used in novel and creative thinking) as much as people with schizotypal personalities. It's not a choice, it is a personality trait.. as far as science has been able to determine it is also genetic. http://www.livescience.com/health/050907_schizotype_creative.html
References :
lol what is this "deeper" side of life???? just because artists can create beauty doesn't necessarily mean they know better.

unless artists include theoretical physicists.
