What do you call an artist who replicates famous paintings?

I’ve been looking online for the correct term, I’m not sure if there really is one. I’m writing an essay and I need to know what the correct term would be for an artist who replicates famous paintings and sells them. By that I don’t mean someone who tries to paint famous paintings and pass them off as the original, simply an artist who creates and sells replicas.

You could use the term "copyist" in this context.

A ghost. I would probably write a story about the ghost who came back to life and reclaimed it’s domain property and caused a big fuss on the world scene by making such a bold appearance.

I’m pretty sure the verb is "replication" but I don’t know if that makes the person who does it a painting "replicator"? Not sure, I know what you’re talking about but I don’t know what the term is. Would your professor/teacher know?

Ha ha…Maber’s answer made me think of replicants from Blade Runner.

A printer perhaps? I know that replicated paintings are sometimes called prints. Otherwise, a replicator would suffice.
