How can I do an artist shuffle on my iPod?

I know I can select an individual artist and use menu/shuffle:songs to listen to random songs by that artist. I want to shuffle all my songs, but go through one artist entirely before shuffling to another random artist. How can I do that?

  2. try going to itunes and clicking on file, new playlist and just put songs in it by any order you want. it should work, it works for me. or scan through the whole page, click on anything that you think looks like it says "shuffle songs", i think i remeber seeing that.
