Can I download mp3s not from iTunes directly onto my iPhone 3gs and get them to work straight away without synching it with my pc first?

The only way to get an mp3 on your iPhone without hacking the iPhone is to import it into your iTunes library and syncing it.

What is a good electronic piano for a beginner?

Posted on September 29th, 2009 by admin

I’m interested in buying a fully weighted electronic piano. I’m just starting out and am interested in doing contemporary piano pieces as well as the option to hook up to an apple computer to work with certain music applications. A lot of people recommend yamaha pianos, though I’m not sure what to look for. I’m looking for a full range of price points from "starter" pianos as well as ones that would last me longer.

Yamaha is a good one to start with. About 5 years ago, they came out with the DGX line of pianos. The 88 key version of it (DGX-500) is lightly weighted. It’s a first generation model. They’ve since come out with the 505 and 510 models. Each of these sound exactly identical to the original, but with a few more bell and whistles that you probably don’t need. You can find the original model on ebay for about $350 which is very reasonable, and it sounds amazing for the price. I’ve been playing and composing for 12 years, and I’ve been using this model since it came out, and still love it. It’s great for beginners as well as seasoned veterans without a bunch of extra cash. And no, I don’t work for Yamaha. This is my own experience.

How do i combine albums in Album view in itunes 8?

Posted on September 29th, 2009 by admin

I have just started a new library in itunes 8, i have put one album on, but itunes have separated the album into three covers in album view. One of the album covers it has George Michael only, one has George Michael with mary j, and the other has Wham songs. How do I combine these so they show up as one album only.

They are put like that because they were released in different albums. Disable the Find missing info option and add that yourself.

What artist has drawings of a fantasy story that is about to happen?

Posted on September 29th, 2009 by admin

I’m finding it hard to explain. He is famous for these drawings of for example: these kids are in a boat and a huge castle is seen riding on a cloud in the far distance. Also a bird or something that is part of the wallpaper is peeling itself off the wall to fly away. Who is this artist?
I’m sure he is from this century. Not sure what country. I believe almost all of his drawings are in black and white.

From where is this artist? Please explain more!
Here are all fantasy artists from around the world in this website:

How do I listen to my Tv through my home cinema sstem speakers?

Posted on September 29th, 2009 by admin

Have a Samsung HD Tv and a samsung home cinema system. Can watch dvds and listen to the sound through all 5 speakers. But I would like to watch my TV and also listen to the sound through the cinema speakers. The only cable connecting the cinema system and TV is an HDMI cable.

if you have a cable box.connect the audio out (red and white cables) on the cable box to the stereo’s input connections. select the channel on the stereo and you are good to go

same goes for televison to stereo.

audio out (red white connections) on the tv to audio in on the stereo

all inputs and outputs are labled on all devices. most of the time the labels are cast into the mold so they are hard to see. better equipment has silk screened labels.

also the back of your stereo should have arrays like video 1, DVD, TV, Aux 2 and such. so when you make that connection you’ll need to select that channel on your stereo to hear it.

there are also digital and optical connections but thats a whole nother ball game.

How many songs is it possible to learn the lyrics too?

Posted on September 29th, 2009 by admin

I suddenly realised just how many songs I know the words to, and it must be at least 300 or something. Even really scream-y songs I know vaguely. How many songs do you think it’s possible to learn the lyrics too? Anyone know a phenomenal number of songs off by heart (say, thousands?), or know anyone who does? How many songs can an average person learn?

Well I think it depends on the person themselves. Some people can only remember 1 and some can remember millions. I can remember like 500 or something around that number. It also depends on if the person likes music. If not then they wouldn’t WANT to remember any. I think the average person can remember around 50-100 songs but thats just my guess. Hope it helps! =)

Can I play songs on mp3 player in my car?

Posted on September 29th, 2009 by admin

For my birthday, I received a Sansa e280 mp3 player. I’ve downloaded some songs onto it already and I was wondering if there’s a way that I can play the songs that I have downloaded on there through my car? Or does my car need to be equipped with a mp3? I know that iPod has something where you can hook up into your car and place your iPod in there and it’ll play the songs you have, but I’m looking for something if Sansa e200 series has something similar? Reason I ask is because instead of lugging around CD’s all the time I’d rather play my mp3 songs through my car system.

Thanks!

Yes, If you have the little jack in your car that says AUX, then that is auxillery. You have to get an AUX cable, which just looks like a headphone cord, with both ends the one that you insert into your mp3 player. If you dont have an AUX jack, you can play it through a cassette tape adapter, with one end a headphone jack to plug into your mp3 player. These can both be purchased at best buy, or almost any electronics store.

Posted on September 29th, 2009 by admin

I have the ipod nano, and I’ve been trying to download songs from BearShare. But, i can’t seem to figure out how to get the songs onto my ipod. It appears that I can download music onto my account on BearShare, but what do I do from there?

download itunes, and open the two programs beside eachother. click your songs and drag them into the itunes box. all your music on itunes will go straight to your ipod
